Mel Ott Little League
Mel Ott Little league is a Volunteer Baseball and Softball League open to boys and girls ages 3-18. The program was established over 65 years ago in the Spring of 1958 and has been charted by Little League for most of its existence. The continued success of Mel Ott Little League has been driven by the involvement of its dedicated volunteers and Board of Directors.
Annually our facility gets going at the end of April with the opening of our Spring season. Throughout the Spring, Summer and Fall our fields play host to dozens of travel teams and some of WNY'S largest tournaments. After the completion of our Fall Ball season our facility finally slows down and is ready to go into hibernation.
The Mel Ott complex consists of (8) well-groomed diamonds that are used to accommodate all levels of youth Baseball and Softball. The facility also has (4) lanes of batting cages and a club house that includes recently upgraded restrooms and WNY's best concession stand!
The league is located at 377 Meyer Road Amherst, NY behind the Sweet Home Middle School, on Maple Road.
